Digits Agents — Staking And Utility [Ecosystem Update]

In this article, you can learn about the latest developments with regard to the staking and utility of the Agents.

Talking about the utility of both NFT collections, i.e. Digits Agents and DigitsPad Allocations, they possess huge added value. There are already a number of products available for use as soon as Agents are minted. The priority between two collections will be given to Digits Agents. Nevertheless, DigitsPad Allocations are still extremely valuable.

Points (further referred to as DigitsCoins) will be yielded by staking these NFTs, and these will be used to access the Ecosystem.

Running the simulation of the economy, it became clear that DigitsPad will likely be consuming the biggest amount of DigitsCoins. With the large variety of pools available, we expect over 60–70% of all DigitsCoins to be used on the DigitsPad.

Previously, DigitsPad Allocation NFTs were to generate yield at a 1:5 ratio compared to the Agents. We will be adjusting this ratio to be 1:1.

Digits Agents will be staked on the Mainframe and will yield DigitsCoins that will be then sent through the Redeemer to certain products of the Ecosystem.

DigitsPad Allocation NFTs can only be staked on DigitsPad. The DigitsCoins that staked DPAs will yield can only be utilized on DigitsPad. It will not be possible to send them across the Ecosystem.

We believe such an approach will be beneficial for our early investors and for balancing the whole economy.

Note that Digits Agents still get the ultimate utility which was initially promised.

We expect the Redeemer to go live as soon as the Agents are minted. This tool will be used not only to distribute Digits Coins, but also to create Points NFTs.

The Digits Treasury will not go live in parallel with the Agents mint. The product is ready, but the legal structure has to be confirmed. We want to make the Treasury fully decentralized, so it would take 2–4 weeks more.

Apart from Digits Treasury, all other products are ready for launch. We are finishing blockchain integrations and ready for take off!

We want to touch upon the question of future collections as well — the Digits Ecosystem is designed in a way that it can handle tens of thousands of users. Obviously, there is a plan to release future NFT collections. However, we do not think there is any rush to get it done.
