KDLaunch — First Decentalized Launchpad on Kadena [DigitsClub AMA]

KDLaunch is a premiere launchpad built on Kadena. Kadena is the only one PoW (proof of work) layer 1 platform. Another advantage is that smart contracts are written in Pact, not Solidity. Kadena is now working on documentation for developers who would like to use Pact for coding.

KDLaunch’s YouTube channel hosts KD Lounge, where interesting discussions are published regularly.

The Team

The founders are doxed by Kadena, not publicly. There are 2 founders, both being developers. The core management team consists of 3 people. There is also a team of moderators and helpers.

The team is located across diverse geographies- Portugal, Australia, France, USA.

KDLaunch Projects

At the moment, there are 4 finished projects. Three of them raised hard caps, Docushield exceeded soft cap twice.

Pools

IDOs on KDLaunch consist out of three different pools:

• Whitelist Pool (WP) for participants who are whitelisted by the IDO project owners (optional)
• Allocation Pool (AP) for all participants who are given an allocation
• First Come First Serve Pool (FCFS) for any remaining unassigned or unused allocations from the WP & AP pools. All IDO participants may participate in this round.

Due Diligence

The projects that want to launch at KDLaunch have to go through a strict selection process.

First of all, KDLaunch takes onboard only Kadena-based projects. After that the tokenomics is carefully processed, the team and founders are checked, as well as background experience.

The focus is primarily on the projects that bring more real life utility. This means that even in the bear market these projects and tokens do not devalue down to nothing.

KDSwap is a gas-free DEX built on Kadena. Users can trade KDA and all KDA tokens on KDSwap without paying any gas fees. Smart contracts are written in the pact programming language.

In terms of communication with the audience, KDLaunch is actively using its Twitter, Medium, Telegram, and of course Discord. Direct communication line allows to avoid misinformation and update the audience right on time.
